Upon the decree No. 4028, dated 14.07.1965 "On the exchange of currency", published in the Official Gazette No. 183, the exchange ratio between the old "Lek" and the new "Lek" was set:
10 Lekė of 1947, 1949 and 1957 = 1 Lek of 1964 and
1 Lek currency = 100 cents currency
