The purpose of this Regulation is to lay down the conditions, requirements, time frame, documentation and procedures on: licensing of savings and loan associations and their Unions to perform financial activities in the Republic of Albania; granting prior approval during the exercise of the activity of savings and loan associations and their Unions; obligation to notify the Bank of Albania during the execution of the activity of savings and loan associations and their Unions; defining the criteria for the bodies of the savings and loan associations and their Unions; legal reorganization of the savings and loan associations and their Unions.
