100 Lekë "110th Anniversary of The Elbasan Normale, 1909-2019", year 2019, without legal tender

Obverse: In the center of the coin presents the portrait of Luigj Gurakuqi, the first principal of the Normale school of Elbasan, and a prominent Albanian patriot and intellectual. The portrait is conceived with only a simple line, without overwhelming it with elements of design, making it simple and modern. This line is also aesthetically synchronized with the line of the signature of Luigj Gurakuqi copied from his signature on the Declaration of Independence. The obverse features also the nominal value 100 LEKË in two rows.

Reverse: In the center of the centre represents the façade of the building of the Normale school of Elbasan with its six typical columns (engraved). The opening year of the school “1909” is written on the roof, and the issuing year of the coin “2019” at the bottom of the stairs. In circular form, and from top to bottom “110-VJETORI I NORMALES SË ELBASANIT” (110th anniversary of the Normale school of Elbasan) and “SHQIPËRI - ALBANIA” are written.
