Obverse: in the center of the coin is placed the double-headed eagle of the flag that was raised in Vlora, placed in direct relationship with a contemporary element. The years 1912-2012 come written in the form of digital numbers, to bring to the present the importance of this great event.

Reverse: in the center of the coin is placed the symbolic sculpture with two hands firmly joined to each other, which has been used for the purpose of conveying the message of independence and that of separation from dependence over the years from other states. On the side of the sculpture is written her name "Covenant" and that of her sculptor, Asim Lokaj. In the upper bow is written " SHQIPËRI - ALBANIA" and in the lower bow, the year 2012. On both sides, in the bow is placed the double-headed eagle.
