Obverse: In the center of the coin is outlined the image of a man with a rifle and a skirt (folk costume, traditional Albanian). This image is obtained from a historical engraving of the XIX century, a period in which this costume was used in all parts of Albania. "Albanian long rifle" is known as such and is mentioned in many historical documents of the XVIII century, by the authors Poucqueville and T. Ipen, etc Internationally, it is known as "Le long fusil albanais".

Reverse: In the center of the coin are presented decorations as well as stylizations of the Albanian ethnography. In the lower arch is written "SHQIPËRI - ALBANIA 2004".
