The Bank of Albania deems that the activity of the banking sector and of the financial sector continued to be steady over 2016 H2. Overall, the banking sector’s exposure to various risks remains contained and main activity indicators related to capitalisation, liquidity and profitability show its full capacity to withstand activity-related operational risks under normal conditions and point to good resilience against stronger shocks.
