Governor of the Bank of Albania, Mr. Ardian Fullani, attended the 2014 Central and Eastern European Forum

Euromoney organised the 19-th Central and Eastern European Forum in Vienna on the 14th and 15th of January 2014. This Forum is held annually and brings together distinguished international personalities from economic and political areas.

The Forum addressed the latest economic developments in the European countries and beyond. The panel of governors from SouthEast Europe, including Bank of Albania's Governor, Mr. Ardian Fullani, discussed on important issues linked to the SouthEast European (SEE) economies, such as EU accession policies after the crisis, the effects of Fed and ECB monetary policy on SEE economies, fiscal trends, new sources of investment, and growth drivers.

In his intervention, Governor Fullani provided an overview on the latest economic developments in Albania and Bank of Albania's measures to ensure and safeguard the financial stability in the country. In particular, he dwelt on Bank of Albania's monetary policy in the last months of 2013.He also addressed the issue of Albania's EU membership, stressing the importance of this process for our country.
