Museum nights: The psychology of money and personal growth, by Niko PANO

The Museum of the Bank of Albania organized on 30 October 2024 the open lecture, delivered by the renowned professor Niko Pano, in the framework of the lectures cycle "Museum Nights.

Mr Pano holds a PhD in Economics and is a lecturer of theories on:  knowledge economy, marketing, promotion, entrepreneurship, and small enterprise at several universities in the country.  He is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, Department of Economics at the Mediterranean University of Albania; he is also a Deputy Rector and is responsible for scientific work at Mediterranean University of Albania (UMSH).

The lecture delivered by professor Pano focused on key issues of financial behaviour and personal development, discussing the impacts of behaviour, personal experiences, and setting long-term financial goals in regard to financial success.  The lecture also discussed the concepts of "sufficiency" and "economic freedom", which can help achieve financial sustainability.

The Second Deputy Governor of the Bank of Albania, Ms. Luljeta Minxhozi addressed the welcome speech on the occasion of this lecture. Ms. Minxhozi thanked the attendees and lecturer Pano, and highlighted that the Museum of the Bank of Albania has welcomed many visitors over the years, primarily students. In order to encourage and support closer relations with other disciplines, the Bank of Albania is committed, through Museum Night lectures to introduce various perspectives from prominent personalities in the fields of numismatics, banking and economics history, financial education as well as other disciplines such as philately, art and architecture, providing the opportunity to visitors to listen to interesting lectures, visit the Museum after the Bank's working hours, and benefit from the knowledge and expertise of the invited lecturers. Our aim is for the Museum of the Bank of Albania to be not only a place where one comes to enjoy an exhibition, but also a place for sharing views and ideas.
