Decisions by the Supervisory Council, 3 December 2025

At its meeting on 3 December 2025, the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania reviewed and decided to:

• Grant preliminary approval for the licensing of “JET Bank”

Based on this decision, the Supervisory Council granted preliminary approval for the licensing of JET Bank to conduct banking and financial activities in the Republic of Albania.

JET Bank aims to be the first bank in Albania to operate in a fully digital manner, combining advanced technology with a simple, secure and customer-focused model. Its mission is to introduce a new approach to financial services, different from traditional banking models.

The Supervisory Council was also briefed on the daily functional and operational activities of the Bank of Albania.
