Academics from the University of Oxford, representatives of the International Monetary Fund, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, other central banks in our region and of the Bank of Albania attended the workshop organised jointly by the Bank of Albania and the University of Oxford.

In his address to the workshop, Mr. Ardian Fullani, Governor of the Bank of Albania, focused on the evolution of theoretical and practical concepts of decision-making in the field of economic policies. 'These policies, along with the structural reforms in capital and labour markets, and the economic integration, are indispensable factors for promoting sustainable growth and achieving macro-financial stability in developing countries. The continuation of these reforms and their success demand interaction and coordination between domestic and international institutions." - Mr. Fullani highlighted in his address.

During his visit in Oxford, Governor Fullani met with Professor Margaret MacMillan, the Warden of St Antony's College. They discussed on the importance of continuing the co-operation between the two institutions, focusing on research.
