Monetary policy decisions

Today, on 27 August 2014, the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania reviewed and approved the monthly Monetary Policy Report. Based on the most recent economic and monetary developments, and following the discussions on the expected outlook, the Supervisory Council decided to keep the key interest rate unchanged, at 2.50%.

The Governor of the Bank of Albania will comment on the considerations underlying this decision at a press conference starting at 16:00 today.
