The object of this regulation is to determine the structure of the international payment account number (IBAN), the relationship between payment service providers defined in article 3, point 2 of the law "On payment services", with their customers regarding the creation, communication, recognition and use of the international payment account number in the Republic of Albania This regulation foreseen provisions in relation to the procedures for checking its validity by payment service providers.
