Bank of Albania T-bills desk has moved to new address

The Bank of Albania kindly informs the public that the desk for transactions with Treasury bills has moved to the following location: Rruga e Dibrës, Kompleksi “Halili”, Kulla A, Kati II, Tirana, Albania.

Moreover, as of 19 January 2015, the Bank of Albania has implemented two changes to its intermediary role for individuals' investments in T-bills, hence eliminating the cash transactions with them. These changes consist in:

a-  Funds that individuals want to invest in T-bills shall be deposited with a commercial bank in a special account, avoiding, thus their transfer to the Bank of Albania.

b-  The investment result, after the closing of the auction, shall be collected at the commercial bank, where the individual has his account, and not at the Bank of Albania's T-bills desk.

Meanwhile, the request for participation in an auction will continue to be submitted to the Bank of Albania.
