Governor of the Bank of Albania, Ardian Fullani, Attends Economic Conference of Central, Eastern and Southeastern European (CESEE) Countries

On 17 June 2013, Governor of the Bank of Albania, Ardian Fullani, attended the Economic Conference of Central, Eastern and Southeastern European (CESEE) countries, which was held in Frankfurt, Germany.

The conference entitled 'Interlinkages with the euro area and long-term convergence dynamics' was hosted by the European Central Bank. It was attended by representatives from European central banks in the euro area and potential candidate countries for EU membership, financial institutions and academics.

During the conference proceedings, the attendees discussed the economic linkages between the euro area and CESEE countries, the importance of economic stability in these countries in light of the crisis, and their financial integration while adapting to the new supervisory rules in Europe.
