On the Participation of the Governor of the Bank of Albania in the Regional Summit of Governors and Leading Bankers, 24 June 2009

On 19-20 June 2009, the Governor of the Bank of Albania, Ardian Fullani, participated in the Regional Summit of Governors and Leading Bankers entitled “Measures Against the Global Crisis in the Financial Sector”, organized by the Ekonomist Media Group in Montenegro. Participants in this Summit were the Governors of the central banks of Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Serbia and heads of the largest commercial banks, banking groups and other financial institutions operating in the region.

The aim of this Summit was to improve the cooperation among the financial institutions in the region and exchange experience in preventing and mitigating the effects of the current financial crisis, in order to revive the banking system and the regional economies.
