Decisions by the Supervisory Council, 1 November 2023

On 1 November 2023, in addition to the decision to increase the policy rate to 3.25%, and the interest rates on the overnight deposit and overnight loan facility at the Bank of Albania, to 2.25% and 4.25%, respectively, the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania reviewed and decided to:

• Approve amendments to the Regulation "On reporting to the Bank of Albania according to the Unified Reporting System "

These amendments aim to review the reporting requirements for certain types of entities (payment institutions and electronic money institutions, non-bank financial institutions, banks, etc.), with the aim of collecting more detailed information on their activities, adaption to the revised supervisory rules or requirements, or regarding the automation of data previously collected from  entities, in the  electronic reporting ERRS).

The Supervisory Council was also informed on daily functional and operational activities of the Bank of Albania.
