Obverse: In the center of the coin is outlined the image of the portrait of Ismail Qemali as well as the value "100 Lekë". In the upper arch is written "Ismail Qemali", while in the lower arch is "Vlora 1912 - 2002".

Reverse: In the center of the coin there is a book and on it a rifle and a pen. In the lower arch there is written "Albania - Albania 2002".
