Obverse: Displays the mosaic “The Belle of Durrës”, surrounded by flower arches motives taken by this mosaic. The rim of coin shows decorative moives (symmetric circles) taken from Illyrian period, wich are in good harmony with the view in the center of the coin.

Reverse: The back side displays flowery decorations taken from the mosaic “The Belle of Durrës”. This figure is followed by circles down to the rim of the coin. “SHQIPËRI- ALBANIA 2004” is written above in an arch-like shape.
