XI-th Annual Meeting of NPSC, December 16th, 2025

On 16 December 2025, the National Payment System Committee (NPSC) held the eleventh annual meeting at the premises of the Bank of Albania, chaired by Ms. Luljeta Minxhozi, First Deputy Governor of the Bank of Albania. In her opening remarks, Mrs.  Minxhozi emphasized the critical role of the National Payment System Committee in ensuring that technological transformations, in an economy that is digitizing at a rapid pace, advance in harmony with the with regulatory progress. She presented some of the main projects implemented during the year, highlighting the operationalization of SEPA transfers as one of the historic achievements in the field of payments. The work to build payment infrastructures comparable to European ones will be supported by the continuation of close cooperation between the Bank of Albania and all market participants, through this committee.

The eleventh meeting of the National Payment System Committee (NPSC) continued with important presentations and discussions in the field of payments including the implementation of the TIPS Clone and Open Banking projects.
