The Governor of the Bank of Albania, Mr. Ardian Fullani, attended the 18th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of EBRD and the Business Forum. 22 May, 2009

The Governor of the Bank of Albania, Mr. Ardian Fullani participated in the 18^th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the associated Business Forum that took place in London on 15-18 May 2009.

This event, focusing on the impacts of the global financial crisis, gathered in a joint roundtable the shareholders of EBRD together with 1000 high-level representatives of governments, businesses, civil organisations and media coming from various countries, where EBRD carries out its investments.

During His stay in London, upon the invitation of Citigroup London, Governor Fullani made an expose of the Albanian key economic progresses and its relevant challenges. The presentation was attended by representatives of British banking system and managers of the most well-known financial institutions and companies. This event was jointly organised with IFC - International Financial Services and the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in United Kingdom.

Taking advantage of this occasion, Governor Fullani invited the British investors to turn the eyes to Albania, which provides diversified investment' sources still unused, supported by a stable economy, qualified human resources and a contemporary road infrastructure, which is being developed daily.
