Decisions by the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania on 17 January 2020

On 17 January 2020, the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania reviewed and decided to:

• Approve the Schedule for the meetings of the Supervisory Council

The Supervisory Council assessed its activity in 2019 and approved the schedule of its meetings for 2020.

This schedule will be published on our website www.bankofalbania.org.

• Approve several amendments to the Regulation “On the Resolution Fund”

These amendments aim to improve the procedures of the administration of the Resolution Fund, in the context of fulfilling the legal obligation to meet the target level of this Fund in accordance with the structural changes of the banking sector, as well as to improve and increase the degree of automation of the relevant reporting. 

The Supervisory Council reviewed additional information related to the daily operational and functional activity of the Bank of Albania.
