In the last quarter of 2022, banks continued to remain prudent in lending to economic agents. Commercial banks tightened their lending standards, terms and conditions for new loans to enterprises, both in terms of the size of enterprises, as well as the loans’ purpose of use. In the same line, also the loan approval rate (to the total loan applications) fell during the last quarter.
