Economic Bulletin, Volume 4, no.1 - Applying core principles of Basle Committee for an effective supervision

The central bank governors of G-10 established the Basle Committee as a committee for bank regulation and supervisory practices at the end of 1974. This committee is deprived of the supervisory authority and its conclusions do not have legal effect.
