Bank of Albania's buildings

The Bank of Albania is the central monetary authority in the Republic of Albania. Its primary objective is to maintain price stability, thereby contributing to economic development and well-being of individuals.

As one of the most important institutions in the country, the Bank aspires to reach the height of its European counterparts, which can only be fulfilled through a high standard of infrastructure and technology.

The Bank of Albania's headquarters is located in Tirana. It has five branches in the districts of Shkodra, Elbasan, Gjirokastra, Korça, Lushnja and its Research and Training Centre in Berat.

The Bank of Albania's headquarters, located at the main square of the capital, is currently under reconstruction. The Bank of Albania reconstruction project will enable better working conditions and provide for the administrative division of Bank of Albania functions. The new project will not only meet the administrative requirements of the Bank, but it will also facilitate central bank's communication with the general public, thereby contributing to establishing a more complete and transparent relationship with the public.
