Ms Violeta Staka

Ms Violeta Staka is a member of the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania since December 2020.

Ms Staka graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana, in 1991, in industrial economics, and finished her postgraduate studies in "Finance" in 2010 at the University of Tirana.

Currently, Ms. Staka is the Director of Regional Directorate of Social Insurance, Shkodër.

Ms Staka has a long professional career in finance, serving as an expert, director and administrator, mainly in public administration.

She started her professional career in 1992 at the Directorate of Social Insurance in Bajram Curri. In the years 1996 -2000, Ms Staka has advanced in her professional experience holding various positions in the Office of Labour and Social Services, Shkodër.

During the period 2000 – 2013, she has served in various positions at the Regional Directorate of Social Insurance, and since 2013 is the Director the Regional Directorate.

Throughout her career, Ms Staka has participated in several national and international trainings and workshops in the field of social insurances and pensions.

She is fluent in English.

Ms Staka is married and has two children.
