Global Money Week 2026
On 16 March 2026, a celebratory ceremony marking Global Money Week 2026 was held at the premises of the Bank of Albania under the slogan “Smart Money Talks!”.
The Bank of Albania participated in this international initiative for the twelfth time, in collaboration with the Albanian Association of Banks and with the support of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, the Albanian Deposit Insurance Agency, and Junior Achievement of Albania.
As part of Global Money Week 2026, a wide range of educational and awareness-raising activities were organised, directly engaging approximately 4,700 pupils and university students from more than 190 educational institutions of all levels across the country.
The activities included school competitions, lectures delivered in university auditoriums, and other initiatives aimed at enhancing financial literacy and promoting responsible financial behaviour among young people.

Global Money Week 2026 was organised by the Bank of Albania (BoA) and the Albanian Association of Banks (AAB), with the support of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth (MESY), the Albanian Deposit Insurance Agency (ADIA), and Junior Achievement of Albania (JAA).
