Agreement on the organisation of Albanian Government Securities Auctions, Settlement of Operations and the Maintenance of the Securities Register

This agreement stipulates the rights and responsibilities of the parties involved- the Ministry of Finance and the Bank of Albania- on the execution of government securities auctions, settlement of transactions involving these securities and the maintenance of the register on these securities from the Bank, acting as a fiscal agent to the Government of the Republic of Albania, represented by the Ministry of Finance. This agreement was signed off by the parties on 26.12.2013 and was enacted on 25.01.2014. Once this agreement is enacted, the previous agreement on the issuance of Treasury Bills and its amendments as well as the agreement on the issuance of Government Bonds and its amendments are repealed.
